The Secret Agent

Best movie I’ve watched in 2026 so far! The trailer makes it look like a spy thriller, but that’s not quite what it is. It’s more of a beautifully shot 1970s Brazil political-drama-meets-slice-of-life; average Joe with a good heart gets thrown into the thick of things, and we are more than happy to follow along. And to be fair, it does become more thriller-y towards the end.
